
(KNSI) — The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a severe thunderstorm watch.
A severe thunderstorm watch means conditions are favorable for severe storms. The watch includes Benton, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties.
A storm system containing gusty winds and baseball sized hail is roaring through western Minnesota and has central Minnesota in its sights.
The watch is in effect until 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 9th.
