MANILA, Philippines — Presidential candidate former senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leads in the 2022 presidential race in the partial and unofficial count of the poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), with over 12 million votes.
This is based on the electronically transmitted results received by PPCRV from 39,868 clustered precincts at about 7:19 p.m. on Monday, which represents 36.99% of the total number of precincts.
Marcos is followed far behind by Vice President Leni Robredo with over half of the votes, or 5.7 million voters.
Coming in third is boxer-turned-politician Senator Manny Pacquiao with 957,851 voters.
He is followed by Manila City mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso with 874,188 votes.
Lacson comes in fifth with 407,652 votes.
